Bistro, cafeteria and conference centre La Compagnie has been the lively central point of Boekel for almost 50 years. By not following trends La Compagnie has developed into a timeless hospitality venue where locals, regional guests and (cycling) tourists mix with ease, for example on the large terrace that is frequently visited by large cycling clubs. Besides that ever-present Brabant hospitality, La Compagnie is also characterised by its good and honest food. They do not have a complicated menu but familiar, affordable dishes for during and after cycling or a motorbike ride. Or as Tom states in the digital guest book: ‘It’s worth visiting even if only for all the soups. The food is tasty and well prepared. Furthermore, the portions are ample enough to satisfy your hunger.’

The relaxed, informal atmosphere on both the terrace as well as in the bistro immediately stands out. The exceptional Brabant village cafe has been erected in ship style. After your meal, you can enjoy a game of darts or billiards here. The whole place gets involved during sports competitions. If you would rather hang out at the bar, the friendly staff are always up for a chat. The tasty, extensive drinks menu (with speciality beers!) has something for everyone.
If you are looking for a conference centre, they can easily accommodate 15 to 300 people here. Furthermore, La Compagnie offers more than just delicious catering. Should you be staying in the neighbourhood and fancy a delicious BBQ or tapas buffet, for example, get in touch!
Surrounding area
Boekel is in the east of the province, wedged between Uden, Gemert and Helmond. The bistro offers several free cycle routes, varying from 30 to 40 kilometres, which go past the most beautiful spots in the municipality of Boekel and surrounding area. A visit to La Compagnie is also perfect to combine with a trip through nature reserves such as De Stippelberg, De Groote Peel and De Maashorst.
