Meet Turkish comedian Deniz Göktas, born in 1994 in Ankara. Known for his politically charged, witty and dry comedy, he will present his newest material exclusively to his audience in Eindhoven.

Setting out to achieve his lifelong dream to be a film maker, Deniz Göktaş accidentally found himself doing stand up comedy in a squeaky basement in the old town of Istanbul, which threw him into a career of stand up comedy and in a short period of time found himself being one of the highest selling stand-up comedian in Turkey with his dreams of being a film maker being shattered. 

Together with his successful column he occupied on Uykusuz Comics Magazine and his critically acclaimed podcast series ‘Deniz Göktaş’a Ayıracak Vaktim Yok’ (eng. Time due for Deniz Göktaş’, he has been intriguing his Turkish audience all over the world with his politically charged, witty and dry brand of stand-up comedy.

After releasing his first stand-up comedy special ‘Selam, Selam’ Deniz Göktaş is in pursue of new material and has been working on his building his new hour since. He will be presenting his new show at the Parktheatre Eindhoven as a part of the Wonka Comedy Festival.
