Located between Nijmegen and ’s-Hertogenbosch this former farm, converted into a beer brewery and distillery, offers an incredible number of activities in typical Dutch rural surroundings. Enjoy the gastronomy, see children flying through the air on the air trampoline, and sample one (or several) of the ten home-brewed beers or spirits. Cycle or walk along one of the many lovely routes over the dyke and enjoy everything this hospitable location has to offer throughout the year. ‘Whether you sit on the patio or inside in winter, it’s always enjoyable,’ a previous guest said.

Converted farm
The beer brewery’s history as a farming business can still be seen in the many rooms. Today, the Brewer and the Distiller work in the traditional industrial Brewing Hall with Brewing Room. In the Brewery (they partly work in the production brewery in Lith), they work according to an old recipe and with surprising ingredients, without any added fragrances, colourings or flavourings. Our in-house beer tap, always with Oijens lager and speciality beers at the ready, satisfies the thirst of the guests in the restaurant and on the patio at Oijen. And for genuine connoisseurs, there is a vast selection of home-distilled spirits. The multilingual staff will be more than happy to give you a peek in the brewery, after which you can enjoy the view of the polder from the veranda, for instance. With a bit of luck, the cook with be standing over the hot coals of the Braai barbecue. The gastronomic Brabant cuisine mainly uses fresh local produce, and you can taste it. The former hay barn now serves as a Tasting Room, while the old drinking troughs in the Hap & Tap remind you of the former cow shed, where you can enjoy the wonderful stove.
Time for action
As well as the many gastronomic and culinary options, Bierbrouwerij Oijen also offers a surprising number of activities for a great family day, a fun outing with friends or a corporate team building event. Go into battle during the ‘Goudjacht’ (trading game), laugh your head off during a game of ‘Ik Hou van Holland’, immerse yourself in the world of the distillery or enjoy a beer tasting session. The options are almost endless. That is perhaps why a previous visitor concluded: ‘Definitely worth repeating!’

Oijen Beer Brewery is an official Brabants Fietscafé; a Brabant Bicycle Café. In these bicycle cafés, cyclists are made to feel especially welcome! You can stop by for a delicious bite to eat or a refreshing drink, and make use of facilities such as a repair kit, bicycle pump and e-bike charging station.
